Story
It follows Elphaba, the future Wicked Witch of the West, and her relationship with Glinda, the Good Witch of the North. The second in a two-part film adaptation of the Broadway musical. Wicked was first announced to be split into two films in April 2022, with composer Stephen Schwartz explaining: “The truth is, we’ve been trying to make a movie out of it for a while now (which) requires us to cut or omit things that we wanted to include and that we think fans of the show and the story would appreciate.” He added, “We found it very difficult to get through ‘Defying Gravity’ without a break.
