Story
Daryl’s journey through a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find his way home

Impressed with the new spinoff
Seeing Daryl wake up on the beach reminded me of Rick waking up in his hospital bed after (almost) the end of the world. Two caveats though: don’t make it a mega-production with thousands of nameless instantly forgotten extras AND don’t introduce a new NEGAN, because he ruined the series for me.
Perhaps a third remark: don’t turn it into another The Last of Us because that would be pointless, boring and unimaginative
As several people have already noted, this new series looks very similar to the beginning of the original series: fresh, scary, emotional and surprising.
