Star Wars The Acolyte Erases CHAOS!
(2024). I’m not an anime fan, I have no objection (I’ve seen maybe 2 anime movies in my nearly 40 years of life), so I’m not particularly qualified to comment on the quality of the animation.
I really enjoyed this unusual but beautiful combination of Middle-earth and anime
All I can say is that I was worried about Tolkien’s story being told in anime style, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the movie. The story is beautiful, simple, but it works: I felt sorry for our characters, I smiled, I almost cried several times.
I liked the music and the sound in general
The helm was great (my favorite in the movies). The main character is very kind, he cares deeply about his family and people, and it is very refreshing.
This story is both new and very familiar, especially if you know your books and love the LOTR trilogy
Maybe it’s nostalgia, but I left the cinema with a smile on my face and a very cozy warm feeling somewhere in my chest. It’s certainly not on the level of the LOTR trilogy, but it’s good and I hope to see more stories like this in the future.
