the writers somehow ran out of books to adapt
The title track (uncredited) was written and performed by Ramin Djawadi. Seasons 1-4 were practically perfect, there’s not much to say. It had so many great moments, so many great episodes. But then… Seasons 5 and 6 were pretty boring for the most part.

But they did have their moments, even among the best episodes of the series. You could really see the drop in quality in season 7. Everything felt so rushed that most of it was really stupid. Season 8 is the biggest disappointment I’ve ever seen. I’ve never seen anything worse.

The ending was the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. All the characters were so stupid. And the writing basically ruined all the characters. Overall I still give it a 9/10 just because of the first half of the show. And it had its moments.
It’s truly a must-see show
I would still consider this show a masterpiece and I recommend it 100%.
